For Israeli high-tech companies, international demand is not a side project. The Israel Innovation Authority reports that high-tech exports reached $85 billion in 2025, equal to about 58% of Israel's total exports, while exports represented nearly 79% of high-tech output. [1] The implication for a B2B marketing leader is straightforward: global market learning has to be treated as an operating capability, not a campaign theme.
Create one market hypothesis at a time
A market hypothesis should fit on one page. Name the country or region, the priority segment, the buyer trigger, the commercial offer, the proof available, and the first three channels you will use. If the team cannot state those elements clearly, it cannot tell whether a campaign is learning or merely spending.
Do not start by splitting budget across every market where English is spoken. Start where sales access, customer evidence, and a specific buyer problem overlap.
- Define a target-account list and a buyer group before creating content.
- Set one market-level pipeline metric and two leading indicators.
- Review assumptions with sales and customer success every month.
Connect channels through the same evidence
The demand engine is not a list of activities. Search should capture a question your thought leadership has helped frame. Paid media should distribute an asset that sales can use in a follow-up. Customer evidence should improve both the website and account conversations.
Build a shared proof library. Each case should contain the buyer situation, the operating change, the measurable result, the technical condition, and a reusable quote.
Measure resilience as well as volume
International dependence creates operational exposure. The Innovation Authority reported that 35% of surveyed companies experienced significant disruption to continued operations during international flight restrictions. [1] A mature demand system therefore needs more than lead volume. It needs documented handoffs, distributed customer knowledge, and channels that can continue when travel or one event route changes.
Track market-level pipeline, conversion quality, time to first meaningful conversation, and the share of opportunities influenced by customer proof.
